FIRST OFFICIAL MATCH AT THE MBOMBELA STADIUM
It has been an incredible journey for the Nelspruit Host City, in preparation to hosting the FIFA World Cup ™. The host city team has worked around the clock organizing almost every aspect of this spectacular sport event.
With the coordination lead by Mr. Differ Mogale, the city has hosted a successful World Cup™ event and all its spectators. All tournament games were a tremendous success, with the stadium being fully occupied by local and foreign spectators uniting in celebration of the beautiful game. All of this would not be possible without the committed service of the Host City 2010 Volunteers.
Over all the city of Nelspruit has created a legacy, and it has create awareness, to its neighboring cities and the world at large around it’s magnificent scenery, its friendly people and its rich culture.
